Roxana Jafari
Roxana's journey to becoming a therapist began during her own experience in therapy. While navigating her personal challenges, she discovered her profound empathy and nonjudgmental nature. Her therapist poignantly remarked that she would be doing the world a disservice if she did not pursue a career in therapy. These words resonated deeply with Roxana, igniting her passion for helping others.
With a strong commitment to providing the same sense of safety and comfort she once received, Roxana dedicated herself to her calling. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers University, followed by a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University. Over the past six years, she has had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages, from five-year-olds to mature adults. Roxana employs a client-focused approach, tailoring her therapeutic methods to meet the unique needs of each client. Her expertise includes emotionally focused couples therapy and the Gottman Method, allowing her to effectively support couples in strengthening their relationships.
Throughout her practice, Roxana remains acutely aware of the challenges many face in acknowledging their need for help. She strives to create a welcoming and comforting environment, ensuring that every client feels safe to explore their thoughts and feelings. Her dedication to fostering healing and growth continues to inspire those who enter her office.
